I can seriously say, right from the hip, as I just read this blog entry, that the snuggling and Rice Krispies and whatnot totally outrank the other stuff in the grand scheme. And I am sure it is freaking hard to get back into the work force, but you should quit knocking yourself. You are an awesome writer, and you have a brain for wit that most people don't have, and you will get back into it. I daresay, you will even find something better than you thought you would find. You've got YOU going for you, and that's a lot. :) This might sound snotty, but I'll venture to say it: I've moved around quite a bit, worked a few jobs, been around a lot of people who write -- and you're among the most memorable of the bunch. You got brains and humor, lady, and not many people have both. Go get 'em. And by the way, if you get the library job, I'll be envious.
